In my bag

A lot of people ask what I use, or what I’d recommend for camera equipment.

For years the Lowepro Passport Sling has been one of the best camera bags I’ve ever used. I could pretty much fit all of my camera gear in the bag and took it across the world – from 18+ hour flights and camping, to short road trips and local hikes. turnstyle

But I really needed something that I could keep close to my body and not be a lop-sided mess when scrambling up rocks or running through airports. This was all possible with the Lowepro, just not very gracefully. And the heavens responded with the Think Tank Turnstyle. I have the 10 and it fits everything I need.

My favorite body/lens combo is the Canon 7D with the 100-400mm f/4.5L IS lens. I also use the 17-85mm f/4 IS lens,  and a 50mm f/1.8. But the telephoto and wide angle are my everywhere lenses – I feel lost if I don’t have both.  I also have a Canon Rebel XTi, which was my 1st DSLR and now works as a 2nd body. My last and rarely used camera is my dad’s Canon AE-1 from the ’70’s. It was my 1st camera, the one I learnt on and I still just adore it.

If you want some more info, just let me know. Hope it was helpful.
